Fairview Health Services is seeking a board certified/board eligible Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist with experience and strong interest in providing outpatient psychiatry care to adolescent patients at the Fairview Dual Diagnosis Adolescent Day Treatment Programs in Elk River, MN.
In this collaborative and interdisciplinary practice model, the psychiatrist will be working with a team of program staff, teaching staff, chemical dependency counselors, psychotherapists, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. The Psychiatrist will be actively involved in all patient care including intakes, follow-ups, medication management, and conducting family conferences.
This program is affiliated with the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, home to one of the largest inpatient mental-health and substance abuse programs for children and teens in the nation. Our wide range of services includes: inpatient, behavioral emergency center, partial hospitalization, outpatient clinics, counseling centers, adolescent chemical dependency program, and adolescent dual diagnosis day programs.
