  • Practice Description

    Fairview Health Services is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join the Emergency Medicine Department at Fairview Lakes Medical Center.

    Practice Details:

    • Join a team of 14 Physicians and 5 APP
    • FTE: Casual
    • Fairview Lakes Medical Center is a 65 licensed bed facility
    • Level IV Trauma Center
    • Department sees an average of 75 patients per day
    • Annual Emergency Department volumes: 28,000
    • Approximately 15% of the Emergency Department visits are pediatrics
    • Physician shift times are 8-10 hours during the week and 10-12 hours on weekends. APP Coverage 10:00am-6:00pm, M-F
    • Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

    Malpractice insurance, with tail coverage is provided

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Emergency Medicine training program.
    • BC/BE with ABMS
    • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
    • Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
    • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
